CTCA Specialists

CTCA Specialists are medical practitioners with specialist medical qualifications in Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiology who have been recognised by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in CT Coronary Angiography as having completed the necessary training to independently report CT Coronary Angiography examinations.  The training requirements are set down by the Committee which is made up of tripartite representation from each of the three specialties.

The Conjoint Committee maintains a register of recognised CTCA Specialists which is published on this website.

CTCA Specialist Resources

Once registered, CTCA Specialists are required to demonstrate ongoing experience and competency in their CTCA practice through a three yearly recertification process.  Resources to assist CTCA Specialists in meeting their recertification requirements are available from the CTCA Specialist Resources page of this website.
